1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using YatraLedger, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. User Accounts

• Account responsibility. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Accurate information. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep it up to date.
• Account security. Keep your password confidential. Notify us immediately at support@yatraledger.in of any unauthorized access or suspected breach.

3. Acceptable Use

When using YatraLedger you agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any law.
• Abuse, harass, defraud, or impersonate any person, or upload content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes the rights of others.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code.

4. Trip and Expense Data

• You are solely responsible for the data you enter into YatraLedger.
• YatraLedger provides calculation and bookkeeping tools only. We do not validate the accuracy of the numbers you record.
• You remain responsible for independently verifying any financial information, including expenses, balances, and settlements, before acting on it.

5. Financial Disclaimer

YatraLedger is not a bank, financial institution, payment processor, money transmitter, tax advisor, or accounting service. We do not move funds between users. Settlement calculations are provided for convenience and should be independently verified before any payment is made. We disclaim any liability arising from financial decisions made in reliance on the service.

6. Intellectual Property

YatraLedger and all related software, designs, logos, trademarks, and content (other than user-submitted data) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the trip and expense data you submit; you grant us a limited license to host, store, and process that data solely to operate and improve the service.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep YatraLedger available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YatraLedger and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim, or INR 1,000.

9. Termination of Accounts

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or pose a risk to other users or our infrastructure. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service, and update these Terms, at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the service.
